Sustainability and CSR

There’s lots of chat about the question of what the term ‘sustainability’ actually means these days.

We see it as a business being genuinely thoughtful. As event professionals, we try to take our business responsibility further than the basics such as recycling name badges and refilling our single use water bottles.

When sourcing venues or products we are conscious of their sustainability and environmental credentials so we can inform clients before making those selections.

Making a difference the Bespoke way:

Haven Partnership

We are proud to be key members of the Northern Ireland Committee for Haven Partnership. We have close links to this charity and because of this we have volunteered on various projects such ‘Rally for Haiti’ as well as fully managing their business breakfast in the prestigious Belfast Harbour Office.

Lightbulb Team Project

At our recent ABPCO members conference, we had the privilege to take part in a Lightbulb Team project with the inspirational mentalist David Meade. ‪Watch your team build real clinical prosthetic hands that will transform someone’s life. Take it from us – this really is a Team Building activity that pulls on the heart strings and really makes a difference! This is something that we are keen to support with David and are encouraging our clients to put time aside in their programmes for this charity too.

World-leading Welsh Eco Centre

We can’t wait to run an event in The Centre for Alternative Technology, mid Wales as not only do their event spaces offer something different, we are also members of this valuable charity. We are keen to support their vital work in inspiring and educating people about solutions for a sustainable future.

Recent Discoveries

Coles Distillery

We’ve just discovered Coles Distillery in beautiful west Wales where this family run business has forged links with the local bakery and uses their leftover bread to distil their gin!

Clearer Water

The policy of Northern Irish bottled water producer Clearer Water is to help society by building a relaxing working environment for disadvantaged people who find it difficult to get jobs, as well as supporting water drilling projects in Burkina Faso, Africa. Well done to ICC Belfast and Lough Erne Hotel for stocking this product, and we try to where we can too.
