Recently, Bespoke Business Events proudly managed a Fam trip for Tourism Northern Ireland and VisitBritain when we welcomed 8 Dutch MICE buyers to Northern Ireland!

We always aim to showcase the very best food and drink – something Northern Ireland is famous for, recently winning ‘Best Food Destination 2018’ and the Travel and Tourism awards at World Travel Market. We dined in 2 of our favourite spots – the award winning Mourne Seafood Bar and the quirky Taylor & Clay restaurant in Bullitt Hotel.

One of our buyers, Betsy, wrote a fantastic blog highlighting some of the things we covered over the 3 days:

Although the Titanic Belfast and the Peace Wall are reason enough to visit Belfast, there is so much more to see and experience!

We did a lovely food tour with Caroline from Taste and Tour NI and tasted the local delicacies tasted at St. Georges Market. In Belfast, a lot of walking distance, it has beautiful buildings like the big but also beautiful shopping streets.

We enjoyed the view at Belfast Castle and visited the Ulster Folk Museum, both brilliant #eventlocations. Then it was off to Hillsborough Castle and Gardens, an official residence of the British Queen (with a beautiful collection of art and private photos!) that is great for private events. And all that in a day – many great impressions of an interesting travel destination!

We also had a Game of Thrones experience at Castle Ward-National Trust, half an hour drive south of Belfast. In authentic cloaks and equipped with swords, we took part in archery and got so possible programme ideas for our groups! It was great – even for someone like me who has never seen an episode of this popular series!

It was 3 fantastic and educational days – thanks to the team at Bespoke Business Events!

It’s always lovely to hear positive feedback from our buyers and their enthusiasm for bringing Business Events to us – but with so much to offer it’s hard not to be impressed by Northern Ireland!
