Bespoke Business Events had the pleasure of being involved in the launch of the new Qatar Airways flight from Doha to Cardiff. It’s great news for Cardiff to have this daily connection – so easy and a great incentive for our delegates to choose the Welsh capital for any of their meetings & events.
Our group stayed in the Hilton Hotel Cardiff – perfectly placed in the centre of the city opposite Cardiff Castle. We also got to visit the lovely Vale Resort and Llechwen Hall – both fantastic hotels which showcase the stunning Welsh countryside at it’s very best!
It was a few days filled with Welsh food, drink and music. Buyers took a bite into Wales with the famous ‘Welsh Cakes’ and with a whisky tasting session at Penderyn – all topped off with an introduction to the Welsh choirs!
From a boat tour in Cardiff Bay to canyoning and ‘waterfall walks’ through our stunning landscapes, we really did celebrate the ‘Year of the Sea’.
One of our favourite things about Wales is the unique experiences – where else can you witness the production of the UK coins or follow in the footsteps of the Welsh miners who know the traditional coal industry better than anyone else? Our buyers loved taking part in these experiences and really learning about wales!
Our culture doesn’t stop there – the impressive National Museum Cardiff and St. Fagan’s allowed our buyers enjoy some of Europe’s finest art collections.
And let’s not forget what Wales is famous for – castles! A stop at Cardiff Castle and Caerphilly Castle gave our buyers an insight into possible historic, unique and stunning venues for their groups.
